So I'm branching out and trying more wines. I figure while Joe's gone I'm going to need it. Today I bought a brand solely for it's name, and I now know never to make that mistake again. Let me tell you first hand, it blows!
LOLOL! I do the same thing, buy wine for their name or the cool label. Sometimes it works out nicely, I've found really good wines like that, like the one Jeff bought for me for my birthday because of the label that was really delicious. Other times it's just blah - but you can always use those bad wines in cooking where it won't matter. I have a cool demon or devil or something like that one I bought for the label but haven't opened yet. We could try it for Halloween. Or, I also bought some on Friday at World Market. I bought one in a black cat SHAPED bottle, so how could I pass that up, right!? It's a riesling, which I like, so I'm hoping for a good wine. And I bought a cool alcoholic apple cider which you will probably like since you like spiced apple cider. There are some cool Halloween ones coming out that I'm itching to buy but really, how much wine do I really want to drink!? And then there's the Mad Housewife label which I want to buy but I've been told it's not that great.
